1. Bahia Honda Rail Bridge (Florida)

Of all the scenes of bridges that go to nowhere, none can compare to the awe-inspiring end of the Bahia Honda Rail Bridge, which was once used to get back and forth from the Florida Keys. Today, it looks like a scene from the apocalypse. Wires and rust shoot out in all directions and the concrete is slowly cracking away over time. You can still see the two stripped lines that used to keep cars in line, but now they’re broken. Every now and then a small chunk at the end of the bridge falls into the water. You can catch it all from the nearby park, but don’t try getting on it.
