9. Old U.S. 220 (North Carolina)


Looks a little bumpy, right? Despite the best efforts to keep Old U.S. 220 in service, you won’t find much use in this highway anymore. Since being replaced the highway has fallen into disrepair and the only people to use it anymore are the local farmers who happen to live along it. We’re not exactly sure why there were so many cracks in the road to begin with, but even the cracks are being filled with grass that pops up all over the highway. You know if grass starts growing on the highway that it doesn’t receive much wear.
